Syracuse Public Library is conducting a communications survey. We ask everyone to please fill it out and help us connect with as many people as possible.
Children and their family members can build leprechaun traps from 5-6 p.m. Tuesday, March 11, in the downstairs meeting room.
Teens can watch cartoons and color at the library from 4-5 p.m. Friday, Feb. 28, in the Rosalyn Jones/Teen Room. There will be snacks!

Enjoy Bonus Borrows more often! Bonus Borrows will be available the last seven days of each month, starting in March. Choose from these select titles without using your monthly borrows!
Join YA Video Gaming from 4-7 p.m. on the first Thursday of the month in the Rosalyn Jones Room.
Register now for April's DIY with Shelly! Registered attendees will create teacup button bouquets. Click the image to register. The program will be from 5:30-7 p.m. Tuesday, April 29, in the downstairs meeting room.
Uncover your family's stories while enjoying high tea! Bring your genealogy projects to the library from 2:30-3:30 p.m. Friday, March 21, to use library resources while sipping warm tea.
The Friends of the Syracuse Public Library are hosting a coffee social from 10:30 a.m. until noon Wednesday, March 12, in the library's upstairs sitting area.
Craft & Sip will use beads to create bracelets from 4:30-5:30 p.m. Thursday, March 13, in the downstairs meeting room. Click the image to register for this event. Space is limited.
Embark on a romantic rendezvous with a gently used book — title unknown — from Feb. 1-28 (or while supplies last)! Each uniquely wrapped book is $10 and comes with hidden surprises inside. All proceeds benefit the Syracuse Public Library.
Teens will play "Everdell" from 5:30-7:30 p.m. Thursday, March 20, in the Rosalyn Jones Room. Players aim to create a city of critters!
The YA Writing Club will have a cozy write-in from 3:30-4:30 p.m. Friday, April 11, in the Rosalyn Jones Room. There will be tea and baked goods. The club will not meet in March.
EXTENDED TO MARCH 1: Teens can submit mural designs for the North Webster and Syracuse libraries' Teen Art Contest until Feb. 14. Pick up mural templates at either library and bring them back when done. Winners will bring their designs to life at North Webster Community Public Library's wood fence.
Children (grades 4+) will learn about "weird" & wonderful women from history from 3-4 p.m. on Monday, March 31, in the children's department.

The Power Of Libraries
|
Evergreen Indiana is a growing consortium of over 125 public, school and institutional libraries located throughout Indiana that use the Evergreen ILS. This resource sharing initiative provides cost savings for the library and access to almost 8 million items for over 1 million Indiana residents. A list of participating libraries is available on the Evergreen Indiana Member Libraries page.
The AppDownload the Evergreen Indiana app through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. The app allows to view items checked out, place holds, build lists, and more. Bonus: It has a digital library card in case you leave your physical one at home!
