January's Adult Book Club Pick

Heritage Lost is the SPL adult book club's January pick. From local author S.M. Wright, Heritage Lost is a fast-paced, character-driven space opera. It centers on Captain Katya Cassius as her life goes into chaos after rescuing an alien toddler. The child's circumstances force Katya to face her own disjointed childhood, forever shaped by a global war.

Discussions will be held at 6 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 18, via Zoom and at 1 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 20, in the library's downstairs meeting room. The author will join both discussions.
